Manuscript preservation work has started

TUCL signed MoU with University of Hamburg, Center for the Study of Manuscript Cultures (CSMC), Germany, on 4th March, 2020. The 10-month collaborative work has started on 5th January 2021. Two staffs from each of the both parties are collaborating in a regular basis. All the manuscripts are being preserved using acid-free cardboard boxes. The library has 621 manuscripts in the different subjects such as theology, yoga, literature, Ayurveda, grammar, philosophy, justice, history, etc. The materials seem to have been written in scripts such as Devanagari, Nepali language, KubhoBhujimol etc.
